Post Objective

Maintain visible presence, complete defined patrols, observe and document exceptions, and notify the authorized contact according to the escalation matrix.

Required Duties
  • Report on time in approved uniform and equipment.
  • Review pass-down and current property instructions.
  • Patrol designated areas at the defined interval.
  • Document each round and any exception observed.
  • Preserve the chain of command for non-emergency issues.
Boundaries
  • Do not create or alter property policy.
  • Do not enter restricted areas without authorization.
  • Do not represent an observation as a confirmed fact.
  • Do not delay emergency notification when life or safety is at risk.
Escalation Matrix
  • Emergency: contact 911, then the designated property and KDI contacts.
  • Urgent exception: notify the designated property contact and KDI supervisor.
  • Routine issue: document in the activity report for management review.

Primary entrance • parking areas • amenity perimeter • service area • management-defined exception locations.

Shift Closeout

Complete the report, identify unresolved items, deliver the pass-down, and remain until properly relieved when the scope requires relief.
