Christopher Key is the founder and managing member of Keystone Defense Industries LLC. With over 17 years of combined experience in military service, defense contracting, and law enforcement, he brings extensive operational expertise in high-threat environments and complex security operations.
Christopher served six years in the United States Army as a Military Police officer, completing multiple combat deployments, including service in both Iraq and Afghanistan. During his military career, he gained valuable experience in force protection and dignitary protection, including providing personal security for a U.S. State Department official.
Following his military service, Christopher worked as a defense contractor supporting U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), where he further developed his skills in operational security and coordination within high-tempo environments. He later served 11 years in law enforcement, where he developed strong capabilities in managing multiple high-risk incidents simultaneously within dynamic and rapidly changing environments. His experience includes supervising personnel across large operational areas, maintaining accountability while individuals handled independent incidents, and contributing to the training and development of new deputies.
Drawing on his background in both military and law enforcement operations, Christopher founded Keystone Defense Industries LLC to deliver professional, disciplined, and reliable security solutions to businesses and organizations throughout Florida. He remains committed to providing clients with security professionals who are well-trained, tactically sound, and capable of operating effectively in both routine and high-threat environments.
Keystone Defense Industries was built around one standard:
